We are planning to hold CaitlinFest 2020!

The July 11, 2020 CVBG Meeting, at Bruce Manson’s shop will feature Caitlin Morris as guest demonstrator and the ever popular Karen’s Ice Cream Bar. We will have plenty of outdoor space to safely gather and distance. There will be ample precautions, such as sanitizers, disinfectants, and protective equipment (bring your own personal protection – mask, face protection, eye & ear protection, gloves, etc.). For the first few meetings as we resume Guild activities we will take temperatures as people arrive and require all people to sign in. Masks will be required. Our plan is to hold the first meetings in (more or less) outdoor venues to allow attendees the comfort and ability to adequately distance and not be in an enclosed space.

As we begin to gather again, we will follow current health and safety recommendations and precautions.  Click Here to download a copy of the Central Virginia Blacksmith Guild Guidelines for Re-opening Activities developed by your Board of Directors.  Read these Guidelines and follow them for your security and protection as well as the protection of others attending.  Also, please respect the safety and well-being of those who have offered their homes and property for holding the meetings.
