This will be a specialty class instruction on basic mig welding.  It is NOT intended to certify you in any welding processes, but introduce you to the basic process of fusing metals together for your projects.

Class discussion will include safety equipment, metal preparation, basic welding techniques, power selection, etc.

As part of the instruction, you will actually be welding up a project. The exact project has not been determined yet as we are looking at several options.

If you have your own welding helmet and gloves please bring those.

Bring your own lunch. We will take a mid-class break. We will have water.

– Masks are required for the unvaccinated, recommended for the fully vaccinated.

When you sign up to take this class, you understand there are no refunds. This class WILL take place in a shop with limited space and you may need to share a space and welder.  Ample time is given for all students to weld and get some hands on training.
